@ChapFromBKLYN@TheGontheC@MetsMuse He is wrong…the whole team has checked out. And he’s injured pushing thru a meaningless season. Do you go to work everyday giving 110%? If you say yes you’re lying.
@JonHeyman No, he doesn’t get credit for 2024. Majority of that team wasn’t his. Except for a few pitchers the lineup was here. Some changes that need to be made is this I’m not paying for quality starting pitching. No legit starter is gonna wanna be a Met if they’re only getting 2-3 years.
@isles16bulldog@NYIslanders You don’t know what you’re talking about. Isles were offering same money he wanted stability for him & his family. He got 3 years. Good for him but forever an Islander.
@Ginzz43@ItsJustFoul@Joelsherman1@JonHeyman Last year the pitching failed him & he was forced to over use his bullpen. This year it’s on Stearns for shattering this roster & bringing in players who have a history of being injury prone & forcing players to play out of position. Mendy is just the fall guy.
@AnthonyDiComo This isn’t my Mets team. Idk what team this is but I’d start the fire sale after this game. Took a team that was within 2 Ws of going to the WS & instead of signing pitching let all the stars of the team go & tried rebuilding an offense that didn’t need rebuilding.
@RadicalChili@joe03454186@JonHeyman The clubhouse issues were a talking point about last years’ team. Not this years’. The starting pitching hasn’t been the problem for the Mets as their 1-3 starters have pitched well. Peralta, McLean & Holmes have been solid. It’s the offense & bullpen.
