See how the Nigeria Police, @PoliceNG, are breaking down the doors and windows of students’ hostels on a Monday morning, preventing them from going to school.
No one is safe in Nigeria, not even the students who are supposed to be protected by the very institutions meant to serve them.
Why would an IGP squad from Ilorin travel all the way to Offa, raid students’ hostels, and arrest innocent students, only to take them back to Ilorin for nothing but extortion?
This is happening right now at Health tech area of Offa.

Dear @Kwara_PoliceNG,
We demand answers regarding an alleged operation by an IGP Squad from Ilorin in a student hostel in Offa this Monday morning. Officers reportedly went from room to room knocking on doors, and some students who opened their doors allege they were harassed and extorted.
Is this operation authorized? Under what legal basis are students being subjected to this? We urge the Kwara State Police Command to investigate these allegations and publicly clarify what happened. Students deserve safety and accountability.
