Earlier this month (April) data from charities stolen in #ransomware attack. This attack was conducted via a Londonderry based IT Company. It's suspected that more than 1,000 people who have dealt with the company could potentially be affected.

At the end of last month, Capita plc was the vcitim of a cyber incident that caused disruption to some of their services. The incident is being managed, and the ICO have released this statement:

The business confirmed hackers had accessed its servers ~ March 22. It's believed the hackers gained access to internal Microsoft Office 365 apps, & was a "limited" data breach.
