I believe that once the authorities have made contact with the administration, the principal should be with the rest of the staff and students to make sure everyone remains calm and safe. Of course, the school should remain locked with no outside presence allowed in #EDLD502

@MattSwenson52 Personally, I am really concerned about the integrity of the principal. He seems to value his faculty leaders, but he did not stand up for them when the "orders" came down. I felt like he needed more backbone when speaking with the superintendent about curriculum change. #EDLD502

#EDLD502 caring for the school district is synonymous with caring for the students because the district is faced with making the right decisions to best support success for the students. The overall well-being and growth of students should be the deciding factor in all districts.
