Tornado warning for Fernley, Nevada!!!

A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY has been issued for the Cottonwood Fire burn scar as a debris flow has over topped a dam in Beaver Canyon which will lead to a deadly situation as the debris flows will impact the canyon and could even reach the town of Beaver itself!

Another day of an extremely critical fire risk today! Southeastern Utah and western Colorado at most risk today. PDS red flag warnings and PDS fire weather watches have been issued!
Listen to warnings and evacuations and don’t do anything that could cause a spark!

Another day of severe weather is possible today in Utah again!
We have a marginal risk driven by damaging winds for parts of central and northern Utah with a small hail risk in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich counties.
Today will be similar to yesterday with rather dryer storms

Based on radar it looks like the head fire of the #CottonwoodFire has expanded significantly in width and is now roughly 2.5-3 miles wide. #utwx #utfire

The #CottonwoodFire near Beaver, Utah that started around 4pm is rapidly growing and is now at about 4,000 acres! Areas east of the town are being evacuated!

Stay safe today! There are two moderate risks for excessive rainfall today for southwestern Utah, and northern Arizona. With a slight and marginal risk surrounding that.
These are populated and touristy areas, and some places are already flooded.
