@ccondor90@BamaCardsPack@Cardinals No we support the team when they show they want to win. They haven’t shown that the last few years. Constantly signing 35-37 YO pitchers because they are cheaper, sticking with a manager that doesn’t get it, hiring inexperienced coaches, isn’t trying to put out a winning team.
@azelenski10@Ackerman1120 When we had Duncan and Maddox as pitching coaches they could get more out of the pitchers we had. They continued to develop at the major league level. Not the case now. It comes down to evaluating talent and coaching the talent you have.
@azelenski10@Ackerman1120 Agree. We have drafted quality pitching but they pitch for other teams. We seem to develop players/pitchers thru minors but they take a step back at the major league level. When they are traded they take a step forward. We do a poor job of evaluating our minor league pitchers.
@Rinedog1@KCCardinal91 I wouldn’t trust this front office to trade talent like Goldy. They would take a 34 year old journeyman pitcher and think they made a great deal. Happened so many times the pat 5-6 years. Trade away Cy Young arm or WS MVP for someone that is gone in a year.
@CardinalsConvo It starts at the front office. Talent evaluation is suspect. We traded away Arozarena (Liberatore), Alcantara and Zac Gallen (Ozuna) , Adolis Garcia (traded for cash). Our pitching is not great but Mo insist every year that it’s really good. It’s been ok but not outstanding.
@R0yceTheV0ice@RandyHill1108@Cardinals Didn’t he hire the pitching and hitting coaches? And why wouldn’t Holiday stay more than a couple of days? There’s something there we just don’t know what it is.
@The_Ryan_Shull@Cardinals Don’t worry. We will trade him then he will become a star for some one else. Cards have had great minor leaguers but their ability to assess and nurture talent baffles! Alcantara and Arozarena
@LisaMarieBoothe I gues it depends on your perspective. If you want everyone to be better off you need to look at history & not conspiracy websites. Beggining with Regan only 3 Presidents have decreased unemployment rates from the last month of their predecessor to their final month in office.
@IvesBaseballSTL Best move the Cards could make. One of the best players in the game today. Great for the club house and the city. I would take Goldy for this price before Harper any day. Better all around player and doesn’t want to be the center of attention. He was born to be a Cardinal.
