And mine is about the types of math talk that mothers and infants use during everyday activities (P3-G-480), also tomorrow at 10. Can’t wait to share what we learned! 👏🏼
If you’re in Ottawa for #ICIS2022, come check out the 3 posters my incredible research assistants and I put together. They’ve worked so so hard and the posters turned out beautifully!! ✨
Rachel’s is on infants’ object play in the everyday home environment (P2-F-220), today at 3:45pm. Megan’s is about the contextual cues available to infants when mothers use math language at home (P3-D-424), tomorrow at 10.
If you need a booster or dose 1 or 2 in NYC, use the city vaccine hubs! After getting turned away at a bunch of pharmacies, walked right into the Times Square site at 9:30 this morning. No wait and easy 5-10 minute check in process. Bonus kid-friendly area for the 5-11yo crowd 👏🏼
If you're looking for a booster shot in New York, it's hard to schedule an appointment through Walgreens or CVS right now, BUT the city health department clinics have good availability. You can even get an appointment for today. Look at https://t.co/mntOyn7VJN
@lobatt Had the same issue the last few days! The bigger, city-run vaccine hubs listed there (Times Sq, LIC, CitiField, etc.) are much better equipped than the pharmacies — you should be able to walk right in or make appointments as soon as today. No wait at all at Times Sq this morning!
THANK YOU to all who came together tonight to rise up for NYC. You raised $115M for nonprofits working on the front lines of our city’s #COVID19 crisis.
+ A special thanks to @empirestatebldg & @billyjoel for this quintessential NYC moment. #NY4NY https://t.co/0gkVaS73Jx

NYC is coming together on 5/11 with a common goal: To raise funds for New Yorkers impacted by #COVID19. Join us at 7:00 pm for Rise Up New York! The Robin Hood Relief Benefit, a telethon hosted by Tina Fey ft. appearances by @Lin_Manuel, @chrisrock, @MariahCarey, & more. #NY4NY
The City of New York must support and protect #FamilyChildCare, where the children of frontline workers are spending their days. In this op-ed, I share my suggestions for how the City can do so: https://t.co/I9QZEsQVxg. Many thanks to @RobinHoodNYC and @NYDailyNews!
Grateful for the social workers, health aides, cleaning staff, and so many more at front line nonprofits putting this money to use in communities. 💚💚 If your org serves low income New Yorkers, particularly the most marginalized, please apply to the #RHRelief Fund!!
The #RHRelief Fund is continuing to raise & distribute millions of dollars in financial support for NYC nonprofits responding to #covid19. To date, we've delivered 173 grants totaling $11.6 million to 156 organizations across the city.
When you hear @aliciakeys over the loudspeaker in @MontefioreNYC Moses hospital, it's wonderful news. At a nurse's suggestion, "Empire State of Mind" is played whenever a #COVID19 patient is taken off a ventilator or discharged. It's a chance for people to smile and celebrate.
"We have communities who are in no-win situations at this point."
Robin Hood CEO Wes Moore says front line and low-wage workers are facing a "death or death question" when it comes to working during the coronavirus pandemic.

Please Watch — tho it's not an easy one. We spent 2 days with @NickKristof inside 2 Bronx I.C.U's witnessing the heavy toll on doctors fighting to keep Americans alive. w/ the talented @nytopinion video team 👇👇 https://t.co/iBOijXjAW4
Here's what some of our #HeroesMovingHeroes are up to when they're off the job: doing social media better than we do.

Headline: "Bronx Residents Twice as Likely to Die From COVID-19 in NYC." The disproportionate death toll is too glaring to ignore. The @CDCgov should list poverty and inequality as risk factors for #COVID19 morbidity and mortality. https://t.co/aP1XXWbyJN

Spent many days in this building every May with @RobinHoodNYC, but it never ceases to amaze me what the Javits can become — even more so now. So much love for our first responders & New York City.
The seemingly miles of beds being set up at Javits. It is absolutely unreal to see what the National Guard & first responders have put together here in just days.
