There is currently a 2-year old girl in Boko Haram captivity in northeastern Nigeria, abducted during the Ngoshe attack. There are also 7-year olds and 10-year-olds.

SAD NEWS: Last night, bandits stormed Dandume town in Dandume LGA of Katsina State, killing a woman identified as Asiya Khalid and reportedly shooting a member of the local C-Watch security outfit.

Residents say the attackers have repeatedly targeted the area over the past week, carrying out shootings, kidnappings and abductions both within the town and along farming routes. A victim shot in a recent attack on the way to a farm is currently receiving treatment at a Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina.

The latest incident has renewed concerns over the deteriorating security situation in the area.
