Breast screening is back up and running!We are very pleased to share a video presented and voiced for us by @SkyJacquie . This is to remind women to come along to breast screening . The process is simple safe and saves lives !
As well as Breast Cancer Awareness month we are celebrating 10 years of The Rose Centre!
Today as part of our celebrations we had a BAKE OFF for fun ,and to raise some money for charity.
Lots of AMAZINGLY talented bakers .Our winner was Claire,lead nurse for Breast Screening
Sue Harley,our nurses admin support received a Trust Values Award .Sue goes above and beyond the role in supporting the nurses. As well as her actual job she’s always there with a smile and cup of tea if we have a tricky day.We cannot thank her enough or praise her highly enough

This film was made to give information for women with learning disabilities and their carers, and encourage them to come along when invited.
Women with a learning disability are less likely to attend breast screening, and they may have a later diagnosis.
