@constans @willnc1x TN has automatic appeals for death penalty cases, most death row inmates choose to go the whole appeal route until they’ve exhausted all chances and they beg for clemency, the thought process is the longer they drag it out the less likely they are to be executed

@Dianexis It was fines, late fees for fines, and penalties for ignoring fines. They had our new address, the address of the person caring for the property, and the agent but deliberately put it in the mailbox at the office knowing our mail was redirected and no one would check it.

@Dianexis We moved states, put our place up for sale, found out when we got a buyer that we had stacks of fines in a mailbox they knew we couldn’t check for a bullet that went through one piece of glass and into the frame between the two panes of glass behind a bush.
