Very fixable. Just takes reps the more you play games. I’d rather that than it be in reverse where he starts hot three quarters and is an absolute ghost in the fourth. Rees needs to dial up some quick routes to get em hot n ready. Reminds me of the microwave badge in the old 2k games.
I agree. I just think Rees is overwhelmed tbh, which I kinda get cause having Bijan, Drake, KP, and now Branch is a whole lot to scheme for while also still learning about MPJ's traits. He's a young coach too. Gonna take a lot of chemistry prolly and time that's... not on our side, lol
Why do people keep saying “if he can stay healthy?” He took a killshot from the blindside to the ribs. Last year he tore his ACL cause Elijah Wilkinson got beat and the EDGE came from the blindside and he got killshot that play too. It’s not health. He just keeps getting fucking destroyed cuz of his OL lmao.
He’s the franchise QB and he’s going to get extended. They’re not going to let “injury history/prone” stop this because his arm is some of the best in the league. They’ll just build around him to protect him. They may still draft another young QB, because why not? But he’s our QB.
Michael Penix Jr. is having a good start to the season.

@SpeakSoftMike Get that footwork together and Reese needs to dial up some quick short passes when he’s getting blitzed to help his swagga. Last night, some plays he actually did well against the blitz but had to get it out cause nobody was open. Need those quick, short passes in the playbook.
My fanbase is trying to gaslight me into saying this fella isn’t elite and we should move on cause his OL can’t stop him from getting killshot by the blindside. They’re telling me we should take “Darian Mensah” and “CJ Carr” and “Archibald” when none of them have shown me anything
I’m confused how a player could be labeled soft after taking a blindside kill shot to the ribs. Majority of QB’s would be ruled out for the rest of the game.
