Team1 Korea is Officially Here 🇰🇷

Avalanche is winning in Korea with incredible adoption across business, institutions, and payments. We are here to double down on those efforts and empower the community to build Avalanche.

Prior to launching an official Team1 chapter, in Korea we have been actively contributing to the growth of the ecosystem and onboarding talent to Avalanche.

🔺500+ builders and 12 teams onboarded through Demo Days
🔺200+ developers activated across university tours
🔺80+ founders connected at founder connect events
🔺2,000+ attendees at side events during Korea Blockchain Week

Our mission is to transform Korea into a primary builder and talent hub as well as support adoption across consumer, stablecoins, payments etc. That means real programs, real pathways, and real outcomes.

Korea is already onchain

Korea is one of the leaders for onchain adoption while many markets still debate it. Blockchain and Avalanche are used by many enterprises and institutions thanks to the regional business development team.

Team1 Korea is here to build on those efforts and empower the local community to grow Avalanche too.

[Web3 Kerala @Web3_kerala]

We started doing the Web3 Conference as cadence from 2023. Been keeping up that cadence.

Over the last few years, Web3 Kerala has quietly built something real. 150 events. 50+ workshops. 10+ hackathons we partnered on. We showed up almost every week, ran activations across the state, and helped build Kerala's blockchain ecosystem from the ground up.

Last year we ran two conferences. This year we wanted to go bigger: a full conference plus an 18 hour hackathon.

The community showed up. We got 250 volunteer applications. Over 800 hackathon applications, with barely any pushing. Ticket sales moving. Community Partners ready to amplify.

We have been doing this with partnership with @startup_mission Kerala Startup Mission and were able to achieve clear visibility in Kerala.

The traction is there. What is missing is sponsorship.

Here is the hard part. Even with all of this, we are struggling to find sponsors willing to back an event in Kerala. And without that support, we may be forced to call off something the community clearly wants.

So this is an honest ask. If you are a project, exchange, or company that wants to reach one of India's most active blockchain communities, talk to us. If you know someone who should, send this their way.

Kerala built the community. Help us give it the event it deserves.

The committee has approved $30,000 for @YourGrails, a tokenized trading card platform bringing real, graded cards onchain to Avalanche

An amazing project the community can engage with, built by native builders who show up every day for the community.
