Voted to ratify the new tentative agreement buyers the GEO and U of I, which is pretty amazing given that bargaining has been ongoing for a year and U of I admin have been pretty intractable in offering grad workers pretty much poverty wages and benefits so far.

🚨IT'S TIME TO VOTE🚨
GEO and the administration came to a tentative agreement on a contract at our last bargaining session because YOU took action! Now let's VOTE!
Check emails, vote in person, and/or come to office hours or TOMORROW's GMM at 6PM if you want more info.
A hard-won contract. Many thanks to the bargaining team for the hard work in winning us fair wages and a better contract. Unions showing the way!

We have a contract! All of the ballots have been tallied and 98% of GEO members voted to approve the contract. This means that the vote passes and WE HAVE A CONTRACT!
This is would not be possible without YOU, thank you for all your hard work.
