The first push trolley inspection on the Beleghata–IT Centre section of Kavi Subhash–Jai Hind Bimanbandar Metro Corridor (#OrangeLine) has been conducted successfully marking a major milestone for the project. Six IIT Bombay Faculty Elected as Fellows of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA)

IIT Bombay is proud to announce that six of the institute's faculty members have been elected as Fellows of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) effective from January 1, 2027; a remarkable recognition of the institute’s sustained contributions to advancing science & engineering research and addressing challenges of national and global significance.

The six IIT Bombay faculty members are Prof. Anirban Banerjee (Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering), Prof. Supratik Chakraborty (Department of Computer Science and Engineering), Prof. @subimal_ghosh (Department of Civil Engineering and Centre for Climate Studies), Prof. @maiti_iitb (Department of Chemistry and Centre for Climate Studies), Prof. Suparna Mukherji (Environmental Science and Engineering Department) and Prof. Malay Mukul (Department of Earth Sciences).

Their research spans Biosciences, Computer Science, Climate Studies, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences.

IIT Bombay warmly congratulates the new INSA Fellows on this prestigious recognition.

Students who arrived just 2–3 minutes late were not allowed inside NEET exam centers.

This system is truly unfair man. Government itself causes delays in so many things. Police always arrive late. Court hearings get delayed too.
