@naxiwuno@TGGonYT 13 years, 2 Billion dollars, no excuse not to do something. Have better standards for your money man, either that or play the game and stop defending laziness.
@naxiwuno@TGGonYT Heck, even have "vigilante" characters who seek you out if you anger them personally through the social media platforms too. Actually integrate the social media into the gameplay to enforce consequences to how you behave online in-game.
@naxiwuno@TGGonYT To circle back to social media and rep, you could even have situations where your standing could effect how both citizens/gangs and police react to you at the sane time - either helping your or hampering you when on the run, depending on how positive or negative your rep
@naxiwuno@TGGonYT Basically anything to make free roam more dynamic, as a true rep system could even bleed into story missions - potentially making a bad or good rep make missions organically easier or harder without rubber banding it.
@naxiwuno@TGGonYT Yes - the innovative TikTok scrolling, basketball playing, dog petting, filling gas in your car... All very integral and relavent mechanics to creating the Grand Theft Auto experience.
@mudithaha@ChristinaTasty Unfortunately, it's one of those things lot of people simply don't care because they didn’t grow up playing games. Video games didn't ever go mainstream, there's just some series that were big enough to become advertise-able to the mainstream, anything else isn't on their radar.
@NOT_LiloN25@naxiwuno@TGGonYT Rockstar is, at the end of the day, still one of the better and higher-quality game companies. I expect exactly what they are able to do, and this is not 13 year's worth of their talents. Don't act as though it being "a gta game" changes that. This isn't Madden, you know.
@Dvmiinik@naxiwuno@TGGonYT Innovations that Rockstar as a company are quite clearly capable of, and talented in, making - as they have done so many a time in the past.
@naxiwuno@TGGonYT Elements that would build upon the core concepts of "Grand Theft Auto" as a game, that warrent it's existence as an addition to the series outside of graphical upscales.
@insaiiin@Sangeezy_ If you can't do the basics of not having items randomly phase in and out of existence after 13 years of development, you're doing something wrong. If it could be done right in ps2 era games and before, it sure as hell should be doable now.
@naxiwuno@TGGonYT The flaws are the fact that you're overpaying for a game that's fundamentally identical to previous iterations, with some moderate upscale in quality.
Unless you're fine with that, than I suppose you can go and do so.
