Happy Father’s Day to all the dads that stick around & tough it out. Pay attention to the mother, spoil her daily, show their kids how a woman is suppose to be treated & gentle & loving to his family. If you have one of these men treasure them. Some of us don’t anymore.

100% Should be Deported back Home to Somalia!
AI can automate transactions and free us to think deeply, but transformation—rooted in human connection—remains essential. No algorithm can replace the power of personal relationships.
Soulless Sentient: I was spending some discretionary time with AI yesterday and it was eye-opening to realize the simulation is an existential threat, similarly a massive opportunity.
AI can be an extension of our consciousness and ego, respectively, depending on our interaction with it. As an extension of consciousness, AI reflects the way we think, remember, and make decisions—it externalizes memory and broadens cognitive patterns. But it is lacking intrinsic awareness, intention, and emotion and therefore cannot be conscious—it only simulates it.
As an ego extension, AI also serves as a tool for projection. It assists in creating idealized selves, affirming beliefs, and rationalizing choices. If trained on our data, it reflects our language, tone, and aspirations—our digital twin by way of AI's shaping by our psyche.
Yet, the mirror quite readily turns into a mask.
The greatest probability is in confusing this simulation with self. In identifying with our AI-enhanced image, we can further inflate the ego and move away from true awareness.
Used carefully, AI can be a strong reflector—not of who we pretend to be, but who we are. It could have the ability confront bias, refine clarity, and expose blind spots.
Question is whether you are ready to conquer your ego!
AI is not "smart" like a person—it is a very advanced tool of calculation and pattern recognition. It can soak up mega amounts of data, note correlations, and dump tasks with accuracy but doesn't even come close to comprehending, feeling, or being aware (yet?!).
Its "intelligence" comes from algorithms learned by being trained on sampled sets of data, making it appear all-knowing on extremely specialized tasks—such as image recognition or language prediction—where it is superior to humans by speed and accuracy. Something similar to AlphaGo defeated world champions by mastering millions of game situations, not through "thinking" like a live human.
However, AI is not perfect. It spectacularly falls apart when faced with edge cases, biased inputs, or work outside the training—like when early chatbots spat out gibberish as a result of ill-formed inputs. It does not reason; it approximates from patterns. People can question their own reasoning or adapt to entirely novel domains; AI cannot without being retaught. So it is less "intelligent" and a brutally effective, one-purpose calculator—amazing in its domain, but not a replacement for human intelligence (again, yet?!).
