We had a wonderful Nawroz Celebration! 🌸 SydWest staff and clients enjoyed this beautiful tradition with over 3,000 years of history. We shared memories, poetry, stories, and danced. We painted eggs, prepared Nawroz Gift packs, and enjoyed delicious snacks. Thank you to all! ✨

Seniors from our Social Support Group show that age is no barrier to having fun! Outings such as this one to the Chinese Garden of Friendship provide an opportunity for social interaction and help keep our seniors active.

Hon. Melissa McIntosh MP, Federal Member for Lindsay visited SydWest Friday to receive update on the Penrith Settlement Strategy, & future steps to support Penrith as an alternative settlement location. Ms McIntosh committed to support future initiatives for Penrith settlement.

Our Women and Families team is holding a weekly Womens Support Group for migrant and refugee women with a child from 0-8 years old!

SydWest partnered with Settlement Council of Australia to host a successful consultation on the ParentsNext today. Similar consultations are being held nationally to inform the design of a new, voluntary pre-employment program that will replace Parents Next in 2024.
