@MrJoeMilliano Then, the kids submit the group test. I provide support and questioning and give back the original test near the end of class before they turn in the group test to prepare for the second test/ retake. The kids can take the higher of the two tests before group and after.

@MrJoeMilliano I introduced a new system this year where my kids have two tests at the end of the unit with a group test in the middle. I grade the first one so I can group the kids and then they get a blank copy for the group test (intermediate grade) and argue/dialogue about what is correct.
