After almost 10 years, Ascension WoW is set to shut down next week following an agreement with Blizzard Entertainment.

This agreement comes after Blizzard issued a Cease & Desist in June against one of the largest remaining private servers.

In a Discord post, Dutch said Ascension WoW will shut down all of its WoW realms before the development team fully shifts focus to a new project unrelated to WoW or Blizzard.
