I need to find a better place to put this later, but for now,
My new profile picture is from @IsamaraArt
My new banner is from @castingdefects
And my new model art is from aixuanx, of @JiangAtelier
Thank you again, all of you were amazing to comm!
8 months later, it’s done. Every Yakuza title and spin off (that was released in the US and has trophies on PlayStation) is complete. Dead Souls was also my 50th platinum. Now I just have to go find the meaning in life or something, idk.
Started playing the Yakuza games in July of 2024 and I’m sad it took me this long to play them. Each one has been amazing, I still have a couple of spin offs left to go, but without a doubt this has become my favorite series.
You know those videos you see of people fixing electronics and seeing all the dead “friends” that came along inside of it? I got to experience that first hand today.
It’s not as fun as watching other people do it. Gonna go take a third shower. Maybe with sandpaper!
@Talim_AI Side by side made me realize just how different it was, but it also helps me see what I need to touch up. The more I watch artists/see other models move, the easier it is to go “Well, that’s clearly wrong, it needs to move more like this.”
While I'm waiting for Monster Hunter Wilds (I do intend to let it take over my life for a few months) I've been editing my models rigging.
Still far from where I want it (will keep working on it) but idk how I thought these angles made sense.
Left is new, right is old.
I'm already seeing things to fix just off the video, like eye position when looking down, the VII, and some hair issues, but always happy to look at progress.
I had a ram stick that I knew was dying (was surprised it was even working tbh) and my PC was freezing recently and I figured it was about time. Apparently from the freezing it decided to take out another one with it, so now I get to order more.
@basedbinkie I think regeneration within a limit is fine. Like they can tank multiple death blows, but not eternally. Once you pass a certain threshold of combined damage within a short period of time it stops (not like, a few seconds, but maybe like a day/week).
Had the breaker to my room pop every day from 7am - 8am once per day this week. No other time of day, just that time frame. Time to bust out the old reliable 15 ft surge protector for my PC and run it to the hallway and see if that fixes everything.
@drumbum_ I can’t find my normal setup picture so here’s a real one. I could definitely use a touch up on some wire management but it’s much better than a week ago.
I just spent an hour installing things to wire manage my setup so that I finally have room to stretch my legs without kicking wires.
Whatever wood my desk is made of, it was much harder than I expected.
