SFTP ≠ FTPS.

SFTP:
→ runs over SSH
→ usually port 22
→ one encrypted connection

FTPS:
→ FTP + TLS
→ usually ports 21/990
→ can involve separate data connections

So when someone says “secure FTP”, ask which one.
