I've been getting an increase in VTubers and managers reaching out asking if I offer any editing, management, or audio engineering services so I thought I'd make a lil thread on what you can hit me up for! 🧵

@BenboZaddie @LogitechG I think it's still definitely a mic for non audiophiles, what they're trying to do is win the market for streamers/gamers who record their voice in untreated rooms, so the denoising algo is definitely the way to go for that. If it's half decent I have no idea.

@ceVeridis If you continue to test though with a larger sample size, and you find related videos are affecting performance, engagement rates, and retention aside, that would be a really interesting find. YouTube is anything but consistent or reasonable I've found

@ceVeridis Thank you for laying these out! The sample size I think definitely needs to be increased in order to confirm your theory- I would also take your retention and eng rate into consideration when you're looking at these as well since I've noticed those 2 factors plus

One time I did work for Shoto. His manager knew nothing about pacing but followed this advice like their only compass, and then made me cut any amount of breathing room in the video.

Then it became a bad video.

Wish their pacing was as tight with paying me though lowk

cut out any pauses to keep your pacing tight and your retention sky-high ✂️

@SandshrewFan @Pirat_Nation I agree when it comes to how a person's morale is definitely not 0 or 100, but I do think there are truths that are binary.

"I won't play games with X because it's unethical"

Now you set yourself up for a binary system, and I think that's good sometimes. There's nuance there.

@SandshrewFan @Pirat_Nation Also, maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but I definitely don't think the point is for an individual to 'align' with a collective, at that point you're not standing for anything but what you can get away with. The point is just to try and be a better person.
