@FantaScruffsJaw@sinovuyo001@indykaila It's different. Had it been resolved in season 2021/22, you wouldn't have had time. It would have needed to happen with only a handful of games left. Everton played a blinder legally. Knew they were done and used every trick to give themselves the best chance. It's caught up now.
@SebC__ Okay, that's great. You're clearly thinking he'll fail, so if/when that happens you can be right. But if it doesn't then, perhaps you can accept that you were wrong.
People still don't get why these raffle winners keep getting jobs or worse : believe it's because "they've got unique perspective on football" (game exists for 150+ years btw)
But not because their ownership is in bed with agents which drives away anyone with self respect
@slbsn Question: Is there a double-jeopardy element to this sort of punishment, where Everton could now feasibly fail PSR/SCR because they have to meet a 40m bill they didn't plan for?
@SebC__ I'd imagine the only thing Palace fans like me care about is whether he can get a tune out of the team assembled today, and eventually for him.
@sinovuyo001@indykaila Everton were charged under PSR and argued it could not be resolved in season. It was pushed out and Burnley were relegated. Had it been resolved on time, Everton would have gone down.
@SebC__ I've seen you evaluate players down to the timing of body movements and the rhythm of their passing. Your criticism of Sage amounts to he did a webinar 5 years ago....
@SebC__ There is no 'lot' with me. I've read some of your articles and you know what you are talking about, but you haven't evaluated Sage as a Manager - only his route to get there, which you obviously don't like. What else have you got to say on the subject? Something of value maybe.
@SebC__ Then the cheap Caretaker had a good season at OL, moved to Lens, finished second and won the Coupe de France. He has a UEFA Pro Licence and has been selected to manage Palace, when we undoubtedly had plenty of other options. Past is past. I suppose you think he'll fail?
@SebC__ Okay, but that still doesn't undermine his achievements. I know you know football, so saying he followed you is a positive. I've not heard you make a valid criticism of him, just stuff from the past, which doesn't mean anything.
@SebC__@SebC__ I don't think you're being fair here. All your observations about Sage date back before his time in management at OL and Lens. He's since won manager of the year. You sound bitter and not very analytical, which is unlike you.
