Today, we celebrated the 36th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with a flag-raising ceremony outside of City Hall and declaring the month of July to be Disabilities Awareness Month in the city of Syracuse!

Water crews are working to repair a water main at the 100 blk of E Onondaga St. Households and businesses in the area will experience water service disruptions. The intersection of S Warren and E Onondaga St will be closed off to all vehicle traffic until repair work is completed
Syracuse Mayor Sharon F. Owens has appointed Kelly Haggerty as Deputy Commissioner of Water. Haggerty will work with the Commissioner of Water to support departmental operations, craft departmental policies, and oversee day-to-day operations.
