Ajit Doval was appointed as the National Security Adviser by the Modi government in 2014, after his retirement from the IPS. It was the very first appointment which PM Modi did after he assumed the PM chair.

That's the difference between Modi (BJP) and Arvind Kejriwal (AAP).
One rewarded an IPS officer for his exemplerary dedication towards his country and its citizens. The other humiliated an officer by transferring him from his post for uncovering a terror plot.
