Ukraine is not Russia. That's Putin’s problem – refusing to recognize a separate nation, refusing to recognize a separate country – that's what did him in. He was shown a military operation that was supposed to take three days. We found parade uniforms in their various military vehicles. They were literally marching to a parade. He still doesn't understand and doesn't want to admit that this is a different nation, a different people.

They were advancing on Kyiv from all directions. Their main goal was to seize the capital of Ukraine. They reached Kyiv. They trapped us, and then we started hammering them, and they didn't know what to do about it. They were especially shocked when they drove toward the capital and people were just throwing burning mixtures. People were setting their armor on fire. It wasn't a matter of some general being an idiot. I believe the one who gave the order just didn't fully realize what was happening.

Because what does taking Kyiv mean? When you've taken those towns on the way to Kyiv, you have to leave troops behind to hold those towns. And that takes a huge number of people. It's a pretty large territory. If the people inside offer resistance, then you need an army to hold every town. That was their mistake. They didn't even realize there would be resistance. That was their main mistake. That's it.

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova over the alleged war crimes of unlawfully deporting and transferring Ukrainian children.

International organisations have documented the Russification, ideological indoctrination, and militarisation of Ukrainian children under Russian occupation.

CHILDREN!

They are deprived of the opportunity to live normal lives in their own country, only to be raised within a system that justifies war against their homeland.

And after all this, Putin wants to express gratitude for “saving children”?!

How the hell does the world allow this man to appropriate the language of humanitarianism when his own state is responsible for crimes against Ukrainian children?

I am fucking outraged by the way your administration continues to normalise engagement with Putin while Russia violates human rights, international humanitarian law, and Ukraine’s sovereignty.

You are the President of the United States of America. Your decisions and your words have consequences.

The Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine verified the deportation or forcible transfer of 1,205 Ukrainian children.

The Commission concluded that Russian authorities had committed crimes against humanity through the deportation, forcible transfer, and enforced disappearance of children.

Approximately 80% of the children whose cases were investigated had not returned.

OSCE — 9 JULY 2026

An independent expert mission documented the systematic militarisation and ideological indoctrination of Ukrainian children by the Russian Federation.

The findings describe practices aimed at erasing Ukrainian identity and imposing loyalty to the occupying power.

TORTURE FACILITIES IN KHERSON

Ukraine’s Human Rights Commissioner, Dmytro Lubinets, reported the discovery of ten detention and torture facilities in Kherson, including one with a separate cell where children had been held.

Evidence of the mistreatment and torture of children was also reported.

AND AFTER ALL THIS, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO LISTEN TO PUTIN EXPRESS GRATITUDE FOR “SAVING CHILDREN”?

THIS MUST NEVER BE NORMALISED.

The world should not be seeking expressions of gratitude from those responsible for the abduction and unlawful transfer of children.

It should be demanding the return of every unlawfully deported or transferred Ukrainian child, independent international monitoring, and accountability for those responsible.

We will not allow crimes against our children to be transformed into a beautiful diplomatic story.

We will continue speaking the truth, documenting crimes, and demanding justice.

The first woman in the history of the National Guard to receive Ukraine’s highest honor.

“Surrender!”

The russians were shouting her callsign outside a destroyed dugout near Spirne.

Inside, Oleksandra Davydenko was concussed and suffering from chemical gas exposure. Two wounded comrades lay beside her. She refused to surrender.

For two days, they remained beneath the rubble with little water and no communication.

During the night of March 13–14, she and a comrade dug out the entrance. Two russian soldiers opened fire as she emerged. She killed both, contacted headquarters, and led her wounded comrades to a Ukrainian position.

Both survived.

Before joining the National Guard, Oleksandra was a radio journalist in Zaporizhzhia. In March 2026, she became the first woman in the Guard to receive the title Hero of Ukraine.

When explaining her actions, she said: “I was the one who led them into that position, and I had to be the one to bring them out.”

📌 Day 1,702 of the full-scale war

Yesterday, a further 300 kilograms of dog food and 100 kilograms of cat food were delivered to the “Love and tenderness“ animal shelter in the Odesa region. On 29 September, Russian shelling claimed the lives of 7 dogs and 15 cats, whilst a fire destroyed all their food and medicine supplies.

We also delivered 101 kilograms of pet food to military personnel in the Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions, who are looking after 14 cats, 7 dogs, 10 kittens and a puppy.

Animals were neutered and microchipped at three shelters:
▫️ at “Pegasus” in the Dnipropetrovsk region — 93 dogs and 116 cats;
▫️ at “Dreams in the Palms” in the Dnipropetrovsk region — 24 dogs and 6 cats;
▫️ at “Novyi Svit in the Mykolaiv region — 34 dogs, 37 cats and 4 nutrias.

UAnimals volunteer Vladyslava Shylo distributed 340 kilograms of pet food and 215 veterinary supplies in the Kharkiv region. We are truly in awe of the courage and big hearts of these people.

We also provided advice on what to do if a pet goes missing.
