Ukraine has effectively distanced itself from Donald Trump, with Volodymyr Zelensky no longer viewing the United States as a reliable ally, according to The Atlantic.

The report claims Washington reduced arms supplies to Ukraine to preserve stockpiles amid a potential conflict with Iran.
While Trump discussed tougher sanctions on Russia, no concrete steps have followed.

Ukrainian officials were reportedly frustrated by pressure from the US to concede territory in Donbass as part of a peace deal.

These developments have fueled concerns in Kyiv over a perceived US shift toward closer alignment with Moscow.
Zelensky has also warned European countries about the risks and signaled that Europe may need to reconsider its reliance on transatlantic ties.
