I rediscovered this video today. This was one of the heaviest days of my life, the home-going of my beloved friend, brother and mentor, Prof. John Ofoegbu. We buried him in his ancestral homestead in Ngugo, outside Owerri, in 2013. The REAL EarthShaker, gone too soon.
His family had lived in Kanu when he was growing up. They retreated to this place in 1967, when he was about 9 years old, and he lived there through the war. I don't have to tell you about the things he witnessed and endured. He prayed his mantle over me there in 2010. We buried him there three years later, along with a big part of my heart.
I miss you, Prof.

🇳🇪 Niger at the UN:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, as I speak to you, at our northeast borders stand the proxies led by France, backed by Ukraine and 2 other countries."
"And you know full well which countries I mean."
"These proxies are armed, guided, directed, about to attack our military positions and our oil installations. But they will get what they deserve, inshallah."
"Our Sahel is at war. A war of liberation against a conspiracy aimed at its recolonization."
"What some call terrorism in our region is a cynical scheme of recolonization dressed in extremist rags."
"Niger's uranium, the gold of Mali and Burkina, lithium, gas, oil and so many other riches keep the old powers salivating."
"This perfidious destabilization of the central Sahel, led by France with Ukraine's active complicity -- documented, very documented."
"Niger's uranium lit up Europe's cities while ours stayed in darkness. This injustice has now ended. It is over."
"A people that has decided to be free cannot be recolonized, not by fear, nor by cunning, nor even by savage violence."
This massacre in El Geneina, Sudan unfolded on June 15, 2025. Hundreds of non-Arab people were gunned down while trying to leave the West Darfur capital.
Let this be a reminder of what "they" do to Christians and all infidels. Islam is not a religion, nor are they peaceful.
If you’re Igbo (or a friend of Ndigbo), please share this post widely in the interest of promotion of Igbo social media entrepreneurship, especially songs and music in Igbo language. At the present, #Igbo is missing in action, and it’s up to Ndigbo (and our friends) to rectify it. Listen to this short clip for the simple step you can take. Thank you.
Barbarian Cameroonian forces trained by U.S. special forces, the United Kingdom, and France have turned to taking out their anger and frustration on young girls in Ambazonia after suffering heavy losses at the hands of Ambazonian liberation fighters. Acting with impunity, these Cameroonian forces have raped, killed, and mutilated thousands of Ambazonian women, using rape as a weapon of war. So-called Western human rights groups remain silent on this. Yet the moment Ambazonian liberation fighters take steps to stop Cameroon from committing these atrocities, those same Western-backed groups will condemn what they call a “separatist lockdown.” Are these Western actors being serious?
I’m told that media will start reporting on a petition once it reaches 5000 signatures. And that’s when it can really take off. It’s been 2 days and we’re almost there!

Here’s what we’re demanding:
- End election fraud
- A new constitution
- A REFERENDUM for self- determination
🇮🇱🇺🇳 Israel toma nota.
Tifnubu government has built house for judge's just to use them rig election. Any judge that collected house or bribe and change the people's mandate will go blind after the election, Enough is enough.
What General Philip Effiong said on this video is one of the reasons History was banned as a subject, because they will rather perpetuate the lie that the civil war was Igbo man’s war just to isolate the Igbo. But here, Effiong punctured that lie, and stated the gospel truth.
A former CNN journalist tells the story of how he was sacked for trying to report the truth. That account helps explain why Western media outlets such as Fox News, the BBC, and others have framed the Ambazonian liberation struggle as a mere language dispute between Ambazonia and Cameroon. It is not a language problem. It is a question of identity for a people who, in this account, were annexed and colonized by Cameroon. Cameroon gained conditional independence from France in 1960 without Ambazonia. That fact alone, the argument goes, shows why the conflict cannot reasonably be reduced to language. Western media reports what protects Western neocolonial interests in Africa and in Ambazonia.
These are Biafrans in 1968. See how happy and proud they were in the middle of a tough war, and all the challenges of the time. Have you seen any group of Nigerians this happy and proud today? For context, compare and contrast with the daily lamentations in Northern Nigeria.
To those who are sincerely wondering what is being done about political solution to MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case, hear this: Like Nelson Mandela, #MNK remains open to political solution that will make sense.
To this end, the discreet discussions that commenced late last year have not been terminated. And a Southeast governor, his family, my humble self and a trusted few are all involved, proactively. This does not mean that pertinent legal maneuverings will be downgraded.
And to the dismay of Mazi Kanu’s traducers, the aggressive social media spotlight on his case will continue, intensively, because again, like the case of Mandela, the public is the jury in this matter, and the media is the only vehicle that nurtures public participation.
Thank you!
It is interesting to imagine how Vice President Shettima must have felt about this part of Trump’s UNGA speech when he condemned “Christian persecution”. It opened an opportunity for Shettima to have also invited the United Nations to help in this regard, but I guess he did not.
