Do you know how beautiful it is to not care about likes? Attention? In a time when people put so much on those? It's like we want a reward for authenticity. For genuinety. It's weird because the reward is intangible. It's within.
In 1999, I was born. It wasn't in a hospital but at my grandma's house. My mom didn't go to the hospital nor clinic. I was never vaccinated or immunized.During COVID-19 I was scared because I didn't want to vaccinate. I thought I would be in trouble as a final year student.
Can't pretend. Not performative. There might be consequences but I rest with being me. Won't change for any job, money or status. Know what happens? Life gets tough. You miss out on opportunities but you can't miss out on what's yours. What's meant for you. What you align with.
It seems like your art has to save you first. As though spirit was whispering the vision and sound to save you. That you'll hear or see what you create and be engulfed by a presence you can't touch. That's how my album feels 🌬️🪕💽
