@MarcNixon24 Fuck no.
You just don’t get it.
Having a history with BCU doesn’t make you Liberal. Lotsa Conservatives there didn’t like Falcons approach. Instead of freaking out & calling this party Liberal LISTEN TO THE POLICY IDEAS!
There’s politics at play and we need to win an election!
@brighterdays26@MarcNixon24 BC Liberals joined the party. The elected Ccpnservative leader was forced out and a relatively unknown person to many in the province was installed.

The past five years of Liberal-instigated division around residential schools does not take away from some basic truths:
- a policy of taking kids from their parents to “civilize” them was a gross abuse of state power
- no, treaty First Nations didn’t “ask for it” they asked for quality education in their own communities.
A bit of truth on Truth and Reconciliation Day:
Most recorded residential-school deaths were from tuberculosis and other infections, not murder. That is what the records and the TRC analysis show. There is no evidence of a government program to kill children and hide the bodies in secret mass graves. Crowded dorms, poor ventilation, weak diets, and slow medical care turned the schools into disease traps. Kids often arrived with little immunity. TB was already killing people on and off the reserves.
The same diseases killed white children in orphanages, hospitals, and ordinary boarding schools. Child death rates were high across Canada until antibiotics and public health improved.
The 2007 settlement already paid about $5 billion to survivors. Later lawsuits added billions more. Those were legal payouts for a system run by earlier governments and churches.
Living taxpayers did not operate those schools. The reason the bills keep coming is not that every Canadian is personally guilty. It is that Ottawa keeps settling new claims and expanding annual Indigenous program spending—now tens of billions a year—under a political story that treats historical harm as a permanent moral debt on everyone alive today. The death record does not require that story.
It's time to stop the shakedown. Officials keep cashing political points by blaming people who weren't born when those schools existed. History is not a blank cheque. Enough.
Forget bones & bodies, what were the Residential School student’s NAMES? Certainly these schools took attendance. They would have a list of all the students who did and didn’t complete their schooling. This shouldn’t have been an “investigation” that cost millions they could have just looked at school records.
So where is the list of students that just disappeared from one year to the next?
@PM__MacDonald@Dallas_Brodie If we vote one BC. Carney can't stop us. Cons won't change anything.
No more land back.
No more taxes
No more bans or regulation on any good project.
@MYOFB5 Not a single individual dude. Killer and rapist after killer and rapist day after day. Trans violence is real, but it is them attacking everyone else.
@Flintzx@Smileyyeg You are clearly RACIST flint. White people civilized the world.
You are just mad that you can't go murdering and enslaving other bands people like the old days.
.@POTUS: "Today, I'm pleased to announce that the last American forces are leaving Iraq... This day is a victory for the United States, it's a victory for Iraq, and a decisive victory over ISIS, which has been completely decimated."
