My biggest issue with Supergirl and it always will be is that the movie had the opportunity to be the most gorgeous looking film in the genre and they completely fumbled it big time
problem with dc is that they are tryna do 2 batman movies and it wont work in their favor tbh. they should have integrated pattinson in the new dceu and worked on a wonder woman movie and should have done like 2-3 movies for each of them then do side projects.
We're Wonder Woman larpers of course we think:
- She looks cooler with a sword
- She has no villains cause she kills all of them
- Zeus origin > clay origin
- I ship her with batman/superman
- She's so boring
- Gal Gadot is my favorite actress
- I LOVE TOM KING

Also, one more thing — and don't get me wrong, I have zero issue with comics or fanworks that go for that dynamic, I even enjoy some of them — but I really don't want to keep seeing on the big screen, in mainstream movies, the same old formula: a young, inexperienced Superman and a Batman who's old enough to call him 'son.' Because that framing wrongfully ties their core traits and the nature of their dynamic to life experience or how 'mature' one is — and that's exactly the wrong take. Clark believes in hope not because he's some naive kid, and Bruce's pessimism isn't a sign of how 'grown-up' he is. That's just who they are as people. It's way more complicated than that.
Clarence Thomas really wrote a 91-page dissent against a constitutional amendment that first ensured black people and thereafter immigrants born here, are American citizens.

@Fortress_of_DC Starting with Damian is how you know it’s a bad idea. Batman best development happens with any of the three previous robins. Every major iconic story takes place in that era. Making the first Robin on live action after 30 years be Damian is a slap in the face of the mantle itself
While I liked MILLY ALCOCK in “SUPERGIRL,” the movie itself didn’t work for me. But what’s shocking to me is how much the trades have been pouncing on it with each reporting different numbers on how much it will lose, like they couldn’t wait for it to fail. What’s the deal here??
@Gothams_Kitchen@CloaksHim@SchwayJohn The actor for John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) has already negotiated and confirmed to reprise his role in another project after the Lanterns TV show... while the actor for Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) hasn't. It's a forgone conclusion.
@RunnerBeany@SchwayJohn Hal Jordan isn't the main GL of Gunn's DCU. It's John Stewart. Fans like you are in for a very rude awakening come the Lanterns show on HBO.
