@jfruh I think a lot of the piece is praiseworthy, esp. compared to today's op-eds. He does the research. He includes lots of facts that don't match his cherished beliefs. But yeah, pretty amazing he and other boomers had those beliefs in the first place. The first RR toon was in 1949!

@CineNerdle It all seems intuitive to me. I took to it pretty easily.

I think at this point the community might benefit from a guide to *writing* good CineNerdles. After close to a year and more than 5,000 submissions, you could probably give people a few tips.

@CTropes And finally...even before his breakdown, nobody liked Hank Pym that much, certainly not compared to Reed and Pete, who've been headliners for decades. (I'm probably redundant with other commenters here but oh well)

@CTropes And I flatly disagree that Pym's slap was poorly written. It's the only one that deals at all seriously with spousal abuse. The other two were just using slaps for shock value (and in a doomed attempt to get readers to shift their sympathies from Peter to Ben)
