Honestly, when you really think about Thor’s timeline, it’s actually heartbreaking. He lived for 1,500 years as an immortal prince, fighting wars and eventually ruling Asgard, then spends a couple decades with the Avengers and loses his mother, father, sister, brother, Mjolnir, his home, and half his people.

Joining the Avengers might genuinely be the worst thing that ever happened to Thor, and now Marvel is about to throw this exhausted, grieving god straight at Doctor Doom.

The most unhinged piece of Fire & Blood lore is that Caraxes literally refused to die out of pure, concentrated spite.

​When Daemon and Aemond clashed in the Battle Above the Gods Eye, Vhagar had every physical advantage. She ripped Caraxes’s belly open, spilled his entrails across the sky, and tore off his wing mid-air.

But while Daemon leapt from his saddle to drive Dark Sister straight through Aemond's blind eye, the Blood Wyrm kept his jaws clamped into Vhagar's throat the entire way down.

​Vhagar died on impact the second they slammed into the lake. Caraxes? That feral red menace was too angry to die in the water.

He survived the crash, hauled his disemboweled body out of the depths, and dragged himself all the way onto the shores of Harrenhal just to die on land as the undisputed victor
