@NathanRedBlur@aboutblankHQ@zen_browser Thanks Nathan. FireFox and Safari are planned. There are other, higher-priority projects we need to deliver first which are also prerequisite for porting. Please bear with us.
My web browser has a few hundred of these open…
That device is called a bookwheel (also known as a reading wheel).
It was invented in the late 16th century by Italian engineer Agostino Ramelli and was designed so scholars could consult multiple books at once without having to constantly stand up and retrieve them.
The wheel’s design keeps each book’s angle constant as it turns, so you don’t lose your page—basically an analog version of having multiple browser tabs open.
Thomas Jefferson has a version he uses later on.
@ssnyder New and active sessions can only copy/add tabs elsewhere. ‘Move to’ works if a session is closed.
(A limitation of the current timeline system.)
For now the beat workaround is to use Copy and Move options in the Save Menu.
@LangJaiKicks Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
Tags already work that way - sidebar link opens a filtered timeline showing only sessions with that tag.
Re favourites behaviour, we are days away from delivering a solution that will do just that and more.
Stay tuned!
V.1.8.6 was released into GA.

Unfortunately, w/ an annoying bug. When you open a link in a new tab (any method), it sets the focus to it (as opposed to staying).
We’re working on a hotfix. ETA tomorrow or the day after the latest. Please 🧸 with us.
@BryanBanducci There are several bugs that we are aware of which are scheduled for fixing. Probably also some we aren’t.
Will need more info on “no tabs functionality” to diagnose the problem.
Would you be so kind to send a description / sequence for reproducing to [email protected] please?
Meet the all-new tab hibernation.
We combined the best methods and your feedback into an innovative solution we believe to be best-in-class right now.

@mcconnellvjosh@aboutblankHQ Thank you for reporting the issue.
This bug was introduced with v.1.8.60. We released a v.1.8.61 hotfix patch the next day.
We can't reproduce the problem on v.1.8.61. Could you please verify your version? (Top left corner in settings.)
If still v.1.8.60, restart browser.
@jokers404@aboutblankHQ Thank you for reporting the issue.
Which version are you on? Does the tab reload when you put it to focus? More information would be very helpful.
(FYI, v.1.8.6 introduced changes to Speedy Loading. Both features seem to work as expected. https://t.co/c5es6VU4iX)
@PCG_Director Thanks Chris. Indeed. It’s a frequently requested feature from users that’s already on our roadmap. We’re working on releasing it in the not too distant future.
(The new version also introduced a bug which breaks the middle-click in some instances.
A hot-fix release has already been submitted to the Chrome Web Store and pends approval. Please bear with us.)
We’ve learned a ton from users over the past few years about preferences.
The new version can be used without the permanently pinned Index Tab. We’re introducing two new UI modes:
