@christianp Don’t know if someone has already done it but we started on such a project awhile back using the 7 Huzita-Hatori axioms rather than Euclid’s 5 postulates. A lot of fun but slow especially since it is a side project.
I just signed up for a slot (9:30pm, Seattle time) to do a magic trick.
I'm sure the whole festival will be great. There's a long overlap between math and magic, going back at least as far as Martin Gardner.
But I'm particularly excited, because... I've got a new trick.
Please RT: 21 free Zoom lectures spread over the coming week honoring the legacy of Martin Gardner, starting at noon Saturday with Carolyn Yackel, and taking in George Hart, Sydney Weaver, Steve Butler, Scott Kim, Bud Brown and more.

Once again the time has come to talk of many things, of truth and beauty and symmetry, of Babbages and Rings. Virtually, while at home of course! 7pm PST email tacoma AT math-jam DOT com for the link.
Although I have found that here in America letting people know that you are going down to the bar to do some math (or even just talking about math) is a very effective social distancing tool, we shall further distance by not meeting in person this month #mathsjam
One jammer brought this book. Egyptian fractions aren’t the mystery we thought and Egyptian multiplication algorithms bear a strange resemblance to the “Russian Pesant Algorithm” both of which are related to Napier’s location arithmetic (join us next month for that). #mathsjam
Small turn out tonight but had fun Thanks to The Past for the Shout. (We all agreed on the problem from India so we’ll count that as a good night) #mathsjam
In 4 hours come joins us @swisspub to explore old math. No problem less than 800 years old! Marvel at the way it was done and learn to count like an Egyptian. 7pm PST.
Only about an hour before we meet @swisspub for math mayhem. This month’s activities are from the group in Spokane. Come see how math is done in the East of our state. 7 pm.
Crowed tonight at the Swiss. We have a small table in the middle of front room. Come join us and explore tetration (had to look that one up and now have gone down a www rabbit hole).
Approximately e hours until enthusiasts of mathematics gather @swisspub to wrestle some puzzles and raise a glass to Mr Gardner. Come join us at 7pm PDT.
Don't know how good of a game it is but how can you pass up a game were the dice have formal logic symbols? What's the probability that you roll a complete proof?
