Honestly the referees & VAR have had an absolute shocker of a start to the season. If that goal is disallowed for a foul you will never ever see a corner be taken without referee blowing for something ever again🫣🤷🏻♂️
Relating to the disallowed Tottenham goal, if VAR are going to “back the referee” unless it is a dangerous tackle or a clear offside (which is what it seems so far in nearly every game this season for all teams) then the referees have to stop blowing just because someone fell over and assume VAR will correct them, The West Ham defender fell over trying to drag Romero down…
Dangerous times as the premier league edges closer to non contact.
🚨💣 EXCL: Liverpool made club to club approach with Newcastle to discuss record bid for Alexander Isak.
❗️👀 If Isak won’t be available, Liverpool can enter Ekitike race.
Decision up to Newcastle as they never wanted to sell Isak + offer new deal.

@Mubzzz_ Surely that’s the minimum, I’d be saying €100m total maybe €80m and a possible €20m in clauses? Won’t replace his quality for less so why sell for less.
@OliOli89035771@WelBeast Maybe so, I still very much like to wait to see a player fully announced as it wouldn’t be the first time a transfer was hijacked. Same with Mosquera, however I did think he was official.
@UnoBor@OliOli89035771@WelBeast I honestly thought that Mosquera was announced this morning, that’s my bad. Still building an absolute monster squad which I respect, lots of pressure this season tho.
@OliOli89035771@WelBeast He’s basically confirmed but just by being basically confirmed doesn’t mean he can play upfront for Arsenal. Once he’s signed and announced then they have signed a striker, not before that. My point stands, they need a striker.
🔴This has to be the season for Mikel Arteta. Hundreds of millions spent on players for his system with only 2 trophies to show for it. At the very minimum they need one of the below:
The League,
The Chanpions League or
The Carabao Cup AND the FA Cup.
Anything other then atleast one of those should see him get his marching orders if the Arsenal board are serious. Pressures on‼️
Gyokeres Development🚨
Sporting now aware of the decision to not attend training or matches in an attempt to force a move.
Who is in the wrong here the 27 year old striker trying to force a move or the club standing in the way of generational wealth and exposure for the striker?
Big developments expected.
A Few pieces for all WBA fans who haven’t tuned in to the game today on how they look to be playing so far under Ryan Mason:
Defensively: it’s a 442 in defence for WBA, it can end up being quite tight at times with both wing backs tucking slightly further then he would like but when it retains its width It looks to be solid.
Goalkicks: playing out from the back with the cb passing back to his keeper, looking for either the close midfielder with a short ball along the ground or else a long ball to the striker with his back to goal. Once the ball gets to the striker he is looking to unleash his wide players down the wing and get a cross in to the box or a cut to the edge of the box.
Attacking: looks to be resembling a 2 5 3 at times in attack with both wide men pinning the wide defenders to the touchline, the extra man in midfield is then making his late arrival to the edge of the box for the cut back.
Overall it’s extremely scrappy as is to be expected with pre season under a new boss, there is some positives however a lot of negatives aswell. Cheap possession being the biggest thus far. Mason won’t be happy with the opening half and will want a lot better but you can clearly see his structure and style and I’m very hopeful he will have a long great career as a great tactician.
@BrianPinas9 @HeungMinSean7 @FabrizioRomano You can teach a player to finish, you can’t teach a player to want to work hard. Finishing = personal success, Hardwork = team success. I’m sure Tottenham fans will want the latter. MGW is a top signing🫡
My understanding is Frank rates Gray to the moon, I’m not sure that decision will be made too soon as Gray does look the real deal and Benta is a solid back up option. Of course Spurs fans will dream of Wharton (who wouldn’t) but logistically speaking I think Thomas Frank could be happy enough with his midfield
