@sloss_boss12@FarabaughFB And you’re suggesting that McCarthy’s is just 1980 style west coast? And when did his version become outdated? Just last year? Not when he coached a top 5 offense in 2022, 2023, and 2024 right? I guess just now?
@ITellTheTruth03@ASaunders_PGH@KCOffical78 There is an argument that can be made for that for sure, but that’s just not how business is normally done. And, a good leader will surround himself with people that will push/challenge them, regardless of comfort. Who’s to say the coaches he had previously don’t push him?
@ASaunders_PGH@KCOffical78 Exactly - it’s normal business. My company got a new CEO, guess what he did? Brought a bunch of senior leaders from his previous roles to lead organizations for our company.
@KCOffical78@ASaunders_PGH Every coach does that when they get a job. Especially if they’ve had prior success. You don’t hire a bunch of people you know nothing about
@kinilau@KDPomp Right lol, maybe DK said it, maybe he didn’t. If he did, prob smart he went thru his friends to get it out there. Even if he said it himself that would be a tough sell in court because that’s his side of the story
@spurs8637@KDPomp Clear? Even if DK went on record claiming his side of the story it wouldn’t be “clear”. Let alone DK himself never saying a word about this. Maybe he planted that thru his friends, but you won’t win a lawsuit because “DK’s friend said that DK told him that I used a racial slur”
@937theFan@ThePoniExpress@ChrisMuellerPGH@DonChed54 I don’t know why everyone quickly tries to downplay this as damage control. Why hasn’t anyone else hired Shula? Steelers fans have been beaten down so much under Tomlin that everyone has lost their minds. Also, McCarthy isn’t a bad hire-I said it. Is he exciting? No. Better. Yes
