Sacha Boey has impressed so far during pre-season. In training, the Frenchman stood out with his positive aggression and generally appears very fit and active. Even though he was told clearly that he's for sale, Boey continues to work hard and recommend himself. The right-back had already earned praise from Vincent Kompany for his performance against Aston Villa in Hong Kong. Nevertheless as things stand, the club remains determined to sell him [@kessler_philipp]

Today's training session was intense. Attackers and defenders trained separately on two pitches. Afterwards, they had a match with a lot of intensity and duels. Vincent Kompany liked what he saw, gave loud instructions in English and cheered on the players. Serge Gnabry and Lennart Karl watched from the sidelines, as they're not ready yet. Both worked individually under rehab manager Benjamin Sommer [@kessler_philipp]

Vincent Kompany has long been a big admirer of Bara Ndiaye. The Senegalese impressed the coach so much during his loan spell last season, particularly with the pace he adds to the midfield. All club officials are now also pleased with Bara and are enthusiastic about his footballing talent. He has big chances of regular game time as alternative in midfield this season [@BILD]

Around the new training pitch, which is currently under construction, almost 10-metre-high fence posts have been installed to shield the pitch from view - a kind of anti-spying privacy system will be installed in front of the fences. Numerous small electric winches have been installed at the very top of the posts, which will raise a long, thick steel pipe. The privacy screen will later be attached to this pipe, making it virtually impossible to see anything of the team’s secret training sessions

Vincent Kompany personally inspected the progress of the construction work last Saturday after returning from Asia. The Belgian is accustomed from his time in England to training completely isolated from fans and other observers. More than any coach before him, he is determined to shield his team from prying eyes as much as possible. There will be no more glimpses of Bayern's training behind closed doors

The current plan for Felipe Chávez is to go out on loan again this season. There's interest from Germany and abroad: Paderborn, Wolfsburg, Deportivo La Coruña and a Portuguese club. Chávez has impressed during pre-season so far [@kerry_hau, @SkySportNews]

- @SkySportDE confirm that Harry Kane has said 'yes' to a contract extension at FC Bayern. The club's bosses have been informed that the Englishman sees his future in Munich. A new deal until 2029 is under discussion, with the same salary category he's currently at. Extending Kane's contract is currently the club's top priority along with the departures (Palhinha, Boey, Zaragoza). Bayern are also planning a big ceremony for Kane to receive his Golden Shoe award on August 19 [@kerry_hau]
