You worry more about Governors abusing state police during elections that happen once every four years. You do not worry about whether the state of insecurity under centralised policing can be such that elections are not even held in some places in the first place.
You do not worry about school children being kidnapped every day in hundreds or kidnappers collecting ransoms through bank accounts that have BVN for which you must have an NIN, and proudly posting videos on social media.
You worry about how the states would fund state police. You do not worry that the Federal Government consumes 52% of all resources, and wastes it on frivolous spending and on irrelevant and ineffective agencies, while 36 states and 774 LGAs only get 48%.
You are not Ezemmuo. You don’t know things.
@Wizarab10 I need assistance/partnership in setting up a physical computer training hub around the Southern Delta University, Orereokpe campus axis. A survey showed that the majority of the interested students have no personal computer. I'm open to discuss this further.
“Men help another man” Father’s Day challenge 🫱🏾🫲🏿
Men only: Today is Father’s Day. Many men, especially family men, usually don’t receive their flowers
Quote/comment below 1 thing that will bring you joy today. Men, let’s help one another. I will, too

@DrJoeAbah Welcome back, sir.
You missed some of the back and forth involving the Election Act and the released INEC election calendar. You are back in time for the Che v Ars game though 😊
Guys, don’t toy with a woman’s emotions.
It is better to say “I like you but you are not the one I’ll marry” and be called a stupid boy than to say “Let’s see how it goes” when you KNOW you won’t. If you do, anything you see, just take it like that.
I am Ezemmuo. I know things.

Cyber 101: want to know the difference between SSL and TLS?
So, SSL and TLS are basically like the body guards of the Internet. They're there to keep your online conversations private and make sure nobody's eavesdropping or messing with your data.
SSL came first. It's like that old-school body guard who was tough back in the day but now has a bit of a dad bod. It was cool in the 90s, but now it's pretty outdated. Imagine using a flip phone in 2024 - that's kinda what using SSL is like now.
Actually, its worst than that: SSL has been found to have some serious vulnerabilities and SHOULD NOT BE USED, under any circumstance!
TLS is SSL's younger, fitter cousin. It's like the body guard who goes to the gym regularly and keeps up with all the latest security techniques. When people say "SSL" these days, they usually mean TLS, but they're using the old name out of habit.
The differences? It's like comparing an old lock to a new smart lock:
1. SSL is the old padlock. It does the job, but it's easier to pick and not as strong.
2. TLS is the fancy new smart lock. It's tougher to crack, has cool new features, and gets regular software updates to stay secure.
TLS has gone through a few versions, each one beefing up security:
- TLS 1.0 was like "SSL, but better!"
- TLS 1.1 and 1.2 were like "Now we're talking!"
- TLS 1.3 is the latest and greatest, like "Fort Knox for your data!"
The bottom line? If SSL is a rusty old bike lock, TLS (especially the latest version) is like one of those high-tech bike locks that'll send an alert to your phone if someone even looks at it funny.
SSL << TLS
