@Gol_D_ego@FarfaYGO I'm not really upset. I just didn't imeditaly realize this tweet was from a year ago, and I kind of felt like defending dark angel for being Garbage, and plasma for being almost as difficult as the Egyptian gods to summon but with roughly the same amount of protection.
@Gol_D_ego@FarfaYGO In recent years, I have been Unga Bunga Sunriser, Malicious Bane Turbo! Is it annoying that the deck has a 2 card macro cosmo on legs? Yes! Is the hero deck trying to stall for God knows how long like Mine, Definatly not!
@Gol_D_ego@FarfaYGO What's the Imperial order? The last time I checked the Skill drain was a main deck boss monster that required 3 tributes, had no protection, and defaulted to 1900 attack. And then you have Darklaw who's actually run consistently in hero decks, although most hero decks I've seen-
@LastNameNmbers @Yataloked To be fair, back to the future, explicitly told people about them being related, and Marty was actually mortified by the idea. This manga subtly hints at them being related, but let's part of the fanbase ship them for most of the run and then had this reveal at the end.
@spine_tendies@Yataloked Ok, so to make things simple since GX, the anime and manga have told completely different stories, the Ark V-manga ends up playing out like a Yugioh version of Back to the future except they don't reveal Yuya, and Yuzu are related till the very end with this very Pannel.
@LordSmol@N4N0_2100@GG__YGO Yeah but most weird decks are outdated, my point was simply that even with my Subpar deck I'd rather have my effects negated rather then having the opponent play one card and all of a sudden I can't even use my searcher simpy cause charge sends to the grave as cost!
@new_age_vision @PeachyP45@LordSmol@GG__YGO I personally think the card game has too many outs for too many things. It doesn't need more cards that are made specifiacly to solve problems Konami themselves added to the game. There are little to no decks that have the space to run every single handtrap for every situation.
@LordSmol@N4N0_2100@GG__YGO My favorite deck is Lighsworn, but if you use Shifter on me your basiacly doing worse to me than the 15-minute combo player cause you're not even giving me the opportunity to place down my cards. There is no back and forth if I can't even try to play, and to me, that's worse.
@LordSmol@N4N0_2100@GG__YGO The issue is that Shifter is a bit too detrimental for some decks while doing nothing to others. If you just want to stop Combo decks from having unbreakable boards, cards like Nibb and Droplet allow for a lot more consistent back and forth without needing to use a floodgate.
The AI paranoia here has gotten to the point where a game dev can post "our game will feature advanced enemy AI" and be met with a cartoon avatar replying "grr pick up a pen"
@sheimeix @RANK10YGO True but I blame marketers more than the public. When every goddamn ad is trying to market AI as being a part of everything they're doing simply as a buzzword to inflate company stock, the public follows suit.
@TrezdenJT@mubbywub@Terra_mystic@MaceAhWindu The thing is, her being too brash and Abrassive for somebody without enough of a counterbalance is a valid reason in my eyes.
It's like if somebody told me they didn't like ice cream cause it was too sweet for them. Would I be surprised, sure, but it would be a valid opinion.
@Alythium@SuperMessi10i@MaceAhWindu The issue I mentioned with the world building isn't with the development of the world's technology, but rather with how Korra decides to alter and retcon details about the world that were important to the originals world. Ie the fact that spirits are now good or evil.
@Alythium@SuperMessi10i@MaceAhWindu Now, this might have been helped if she had some more likable traits introduced early on, but most of her characterization shows her as cocky which works if all you care about is the character Arc, but they didn't counterbalance this with anything that would make her likable.
@Alythium@SuperMessi10i@MaceAhWindu Well, the thing is, when you set a piece of media as a Successor to another piece of media, you set the bar. Korra clearly has fans.
It's just There are just as many people who didn't like the show either cause of Korra herself or the changes to the world.
@TrezdenJT@Terra_mystic@mubbywub@MaceAhWindu I personally wouldn't call it superfluous. People don't like the character and the show she was introduced in. That's a valid opinion.
At the very least, you do have to admit Korra started off a bit too strong with the "I'm the Avatar! Deal with it!" Line, and HOW cocky she was
