Today I was able to spend a few minutes with our RTI billeting team and thank them for the work they’re doing for the Georgia Guard. Our RTI trains countless soldiers every year, and the billeting team is a key enabler of that training. We couldn’t be more proud of them!
Today, I was honored to attend SSG Caleb Grimes promotion and to present him with a coin in recognition of the incredible work he is doing for the Georgia Army National Guard. SSG Grimes is the epitome of a professional noncommissioned officer and we are privileged to have him!

Today we celebrated the retirement of one of our state employees, Mr. Danny Arflin. Danny served as a member of our finance team and led its members through many challenges. The impact he has had on his team and our organization is undeniable, and he will be sorely missed!
