@SynapseCrackle Hey there, importing bookmarks should not take longer than few seconds, even for thousands of bookmarks. So this looks like a bug. In a PM, could you please send us your Tagpacker username (or the email address used during registration) to analyse the problem, thx!
@txtfl@Rycean We've updated our servers. The Chrome extension should work again if you: delete all Tagpacker cookies, login at https://t.co/3CzmVqM6QD, click the extension button.
@xaviercolas@jpereztriana We've updated our servers. The Chrome extension should work again if you: delete all Tagpacker cookies, login at https://t.co/3CzmVqM6QD, click the extension button.
Our extension is currently not working in some Chrome installations as cookie behavior has changed recently.
We're trying to provide a solution as soon as poosible.
As a workaround, you can use our bookmarklet https://t.co/m3citul4OD to save links.
But you need to edit the URL of the bookmarklet before. Right-click the bookmarklet -> edit and replace
"if (false || w.Tagpacker_blocked_script)"
with
"if (true || w.Tagpacker_blocked_script)"
@txtfl@Rycean Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce the problem in our test environment. But we could analyse it in a Zoom/Skype session. Any voluntaries? Please send us a PM...
@txtfl@Rycean Please try:
- at chrome://settings/siteData search https://t.co/EYFAp8x6Ay and delete all Tagpacker cookies, including https://t.co/EYFAp8x6Ay https://t.co/EYFAp8x6Ay etc.
- restart your browser
- log in at https://t.co/3CzmVqM6QD
- save a link with the Chrome extension
@Rycean If that doesn't help:
Do you use any Browser extensions that might restrict Cookie usage, like Ghostery?
There might be a conflict with other Chrome extensions, is it working when you temporarily disable all other Browser extensions?
@Rycean The problem can be caused by Cookie restrictions, so you need to define an exception for Tagpacker.
In your Browser's address bar enter: chrome://settings/content/cookies
In the section "Allow" press "Add" and enter: https://t.co/EYFAp8x6Ay
