This doesn't make any sense actually. So they were driving all around Lagos claimimg "bonuses" while not making any actual money? Cos a "bonus" is not the actual cost of the transportation, but "jara". So why would someone just pick up his car and be driving upadan for nothing but jara?

Service Year. Wasn't happy going for it so I just avoided practically everything, didn't even kit up most times. Every evening I was always at the Mammy Market. One evening, at the snooker spot, I was waiting for my turn when these 3 boys walked in boisterously and wanted to play immediately. I calmly told them I was next, they looked at me contemptuously (I was very small and skinny) and laughed. I stood in my corner watching the game end. One of them picked the rack, arranged the ball, collect the questick. I quietly walked to the table, unracked the balls and in that same small calm tone asked him to give me the stick. Shocked, the looked at the omonile who told them I was actually there before them, he handed the stick to me and after my game, without saying a word to any of them, I left for my hostel. Later that night I returned to the mamy market for a drink and in the dark corner I sat, this 2 guys walked up to me, sat on both side of me and said something..I looked up and he repeated it, when they saw that I didn't understand the language, they asked openly which cult I belong to, It was the funniest thing I have heard since I got to that place. When I told them to leave me alone that I have more problems than all that nonsense they bought me the next round of drinks and told me that they would like me to join them...that they like my spirit (same boys at the snooker spot) and that they would like to "bam me" during the burnfire night. Told them that it was "depression" that was giving me liver o and I wasn't interested in anything that I didn't do while in school "na now wey I don comot make I start?". We ended up being friends during the service year and they actually watched out for me all the that time.

I am from Imo, and I am not a fan of Governor Hope Uzodinma, but one thing I must say is that his maturity is top-notch.

The man is the most influential Igbo man in the APC, yet you will never see him talk down on Peter Obi because he understands that Obi is genuinely loved due to his antecedents. He plays his politics and has the highest capacity to deliver APC votes in any presidential election.

If Hope runs for any federal election tomorrow, and Obi and Otti are not candidates, I will pick him over any other politician from the South East.
