Its here! Im so so proud of this book, i spent almost 2 years researching, writing, and drawing hundreds and hundreds of amazing spiders and I hope you enjoy learning about them as much as I did!
Happy #BookBirthday to #ScienceComics: Spiders! Arachnids may look scary, but these 8-legged critters perform wonders world-wide. Two siblings shrink down to help a spider mama find her lost spiderling in this fact-filled guide from @TAITCOMICS! ๐ธ๏ธ๐ท๏ธโค๏ธ https://t.co/NFU4jUrnSq
Hi! I won't be posting new art or anything on this account due to the fact that this site is about to turn into a content scraping machine for training AI in the next few weeks. I'm making cool new stuff that I'm posting on BS and IG regularly so follow me on those to see it!
Im on the new, better twitter now, same @ as here. So far it feels like when I first started using twitter and it was just kind of a chill place where I could discover and meet new artists. I like it!!
@jukeboxcomix Thank you for making such a great piece of art! Im obsessed with the book design too, the bright transparent overlay of the slip case like an AR headset covering the eerie black and blue of the cover, with the MC trapped in the spider-webby digital grid.. its so so good.
I started Eden II by @jukeboxcomix today and after just 2 chapters... Wow. Its an incredibly potent vision of both our present and near future, layered with allegory and hidden meaning. Don't skip this one unless you want to miss out on a truly great piece of comics literature.
I dont know how to tell you this but reposting angry dickheads rants about pronouns is helping them grow their reach whether you dunk on them or not. You are giving them a wider audience which is exactly what they want.
I just realized that it would actually be really easy to make process videos due to my incredibly chaotic digital art workflow of just making new layers every minute or so until with I end up with 150 unlabelled layers that only have a few lines or marks each..
@JaredMorgan Yeah man, im maining a rogue and one of the most thrilling parts of it for me is skulking around in the rafters scoping out enemy locations and environmental exploits and planning my opening moves before a battle.
Not enough artists understand that having little stories going on in the background of your comic/illustration/animation makes your work 100,000x better.
