@Proof4cloud@jmatipfanclub Liverpool called camara and Monaco to wait for them in 2027, thereafter the deal with Chelsea collapsed. So it's likely that we are a factor to that deal collapsing
Arsenal are stubborn bastards with strict valuations, whilst also not wanting to shop at Ligue 1 to get cheap talents like Cherki, Camara, Sangare, etc
They want the PL proven players but for £40m
Absolutely hilarious
Didn’t want to commit financially to Semenyo in January so pulled out. Had looked at Gordon for a while but he had chosen Bayern at that point. Was told Yildiz is not for sale. Barcola price was too high and we preferred Rogers. Agreed personal terms for Rogers after Arteta spoke to him but Chelsea swooped in and offered Villa something they knew Arsenal wouldn’t rival. All of that was down to starting talks after Anderson went Man City. Had kept tabs on Vini for a while so made the decision to go all out for him. Many at the club were certain he was coming but Madrid unexpectedly panicked and offered him a better offer. Went back to Barcola but Liverpool were advanced and Arsenal knew another club involved would drive his price up rather than fall. Changed approach from LW to forwards and tried to convince Alvarez who we already had interest in but he was obsessed with Barcelona.
It’s a shame because I think our other business was actually really good and with the forward it would’ve been a 10/10. Unfortunately, the Ford was the most important business and without it, the window is a 6/10 max.
I get we needed sales & Ethan needs to develop but loaning him out on top of the sales is self sabotage. Feels like something out of the Wenger stadium debt era.
PSG are so stacked in attack and have won the last two UCLs. Still, they considered Mika Godts and Akliouche level raisers this summer.
At Arsenal, whenever it comes to signing attackers, we start hearing that there are no level raisers available.
We move regardless.
‘only wanted manchester city’ real madrid had to put out a restraining order in the form of a comunicado oficial to say they wanted nothing to do with him
