@brandi_love @fedayi0505 I would suggest that Putin invaded Ukraine because he wants to reclaim what used to be part of the Soviet Union. He didn't want Ukraine in NATO because it would be much easier to conquer Ukraine without having to fight all the NATO countries; that fight he'd certainly lose.

@brandi_love @fedayi0505 If Putin wanted less shared border with NATO, he got the opposite; more than 800 miles of new border with new NATO member Finland. Overall NATO defense spending has increased by at least $100 billion since Putin invaded Ukraine.
