@HerkyHawk2024@ISU_redacted Agree to an extent, but MC has also not been exactly kind to the new ISU coaching staff since they didn’t hire his OC by gutting the entire roster (I get that it’s his job, but still)
@cyclonemeatball 65% of Americans support gay marriage per most recent Gallup poll, which would mean that you actually have the extremist position on this subject
@Michael71535951@GoodmanHoops I mean if we’re going strictly off of rankings, cause we basically are, Lipsey and Jefferson were not highly touted recruits. They became what they were at ISU. I bet several guys on next years squad step up and do the same.
@Michael71535951@GoodmanHoops Lower floor because there are a lot of question marks on the offensive end but it’s a wayyy deeper roster and likely going to be better defensively because of it. If 2-3 guys step up on the offensive end, they could be top 10 again.
@ryanhammer09 I would put the odds at 90% that he is staying in the draft. I doubt he’ll be actively engaging with other colleges during the draft process. Other teams (like ISU) can’t/won’t wait until late May for him. So I’m guessing if he comes back it won’t be for a crazy number.
@nickbateman33 Bad take. Even though the last two years haven’t been great, putting all the mid to low major AQs in a first round against each other will officially kill the madness.
@slapshotcapital@ryanhammer09 Kentucky already tried throwing money at him. Didn’t work. If he leaves, it’s because ISU isn’t giving him enough to compete, not because another school simply bid higher.
@KurgerBing88@CycloneLarry69 We know there is structural damage. That’s what an ankle sprain is. The question that the MRI answers is how much structural damage (ie grading severity). But timeline to return to play is dependent on pain tolerance. If he can play through it, he will, regardless of the MRI
@brauf33 I don’t think we can discount that the committee is using advanced analytics to seed teams now instead of strictly RPI. Less overseeded teams is going to lead to less upsets regardless of all the NIL/portal stuff
@A_Mar32 Right now each media timeout is 2min10sec, if you increased that to 3min flat you’d have the same amount of time. Could even make it an uneven distribution with the u5 being 2:30 and the quarter being 4:00.
@steph_turkey@jeffmcg88@mid_madness Oh 100%. That’s just every single event at State Farm Stadium. It’s in a terrible location surrounded by parking lots with like 5 entrance/exits.
