@dtemkin Apparently, the sizzle is actually artificial at most restaurants. They add water to a hot plate at the last stage before presenting the food. I was honestly surprised when I learned that it wasn't part of the actual cooking.

@JoelMaHarry @MollyJongFast I think this disconnect comes from the fact that, to *him*, he wants to be heard and be the center of discussion. But most Twitter users don't care about Musk's or anyone else's *brand*. They want the content and the discourse. It's why the blue checks failed too.

@JoelMaHarry @MollyJongFast Thinking of the MTA as the client is the main failure here. The MTA is providing free content that Twitter can turn around and offer to the users, which in turn are the product he needs to sell to the advertisers, who *are* the clients (but who also don't trust him).

Dating apps use a mix of ads and subscription services (much like what is proposed for Twitter) while brokerages receive income from transactions (commissions and monetizing their order book) and the float. 1/2
