The loss and grief to this small community in Gazimağusa is devastating. Today I attended two of the funeral services here for a total of 6 children and two parents.
24 schoolchildren from N Cyprus went happily to bed on Sunday night in their 10 floor hotel. They’d won their volleyball matches on tour in Turkey that day. Life was good. Hours later every single one of them would be killed in the earthquake. @Channel4News tonight 5.30

If someone is insisting that *certain food* is what you have to eat Christmas morning, because that's their family tradition, DO NOT SUGGEST ALTERNATIVES. They will stab you in the neck.
