This is problematic
I can guarantee that I’ve done nothing to suggest to the algorithm that I have any interest in content from Alex Jones, so why are his videos autoplaying after Knicks highlights?
What happened?
45 years ago the 3 was added to the NBA
30 years ago players that grew up with 3s came up
20 years ago people realized that 3s are way more valuable
Now players work more on shooting/skill than dunking so the best players aren’t usually the best dunkers
Breaking: The Phoenix Mercury are finalizing a trade to acquire five-time All-Star forward Alyssa Thomas from the Connecticut Sun, sources told @alexaphilippou.
I’m usually a big believer that being an All-Star is a “this season” achievement and not a lifetime achievement award
… but did you guys see the Olympic gold medal game?
@mannybeastin_ Yeah man, like I said, it’s a lazy take to say a team can’t win a championship. Only halfway in and the team is still developing, Mitch is going to be back soon, and by the time you get to the playoffs injuries play a huge role.
It’s always unlikely, but it is possible.
The other thing about clinging to “They can’t win a ring” narrative is that it’s just lazy.
Only one team can win a championship so you have a 29/30 chance of being right and you don’t have to put any thought into the analysis.
message to fans from Shaq, who gets paid to watch/discuss regular season NBA games:
"Don't waste your time watching regular season NBA games. They are relevant. Cool people and winners like myself only care about RINGZZZZ"
